"I was looking for a good spoon for both of my girls age 2 and 3 months. My 2 yr old needed a good solid spoon that she could hold comfortably in her hands and my 3 month old really was just needing a teething toy to get her used to holding a spoon. The Avanchy Toddler/ Infant spoons are awesome! The bamboo is nice and smooth and easy for a child to hold in their hand. The silicone spoon part detaches from the bamboo wood which makes its easy to clean. The fact that it DOES come off is a little bit of a down fall though because my 2 years old uses her teeth to pull it off on purpose. This could be a choking hazard so please use these spoons under supervision. I do not put these in the dishwasher because wood will wear down in that heat and may splinter. "The best baby spoons I have ever purchased. The sizes are realistic and can hold more food. Not all kids are skimpy on what they eat. My son is greedy and requires a much bigger spoon than the ones I've previously bought/owned. They are lightweight and sturdy, can easily be cleaned with some mild soap and water. I wouldn't recommend putting in the dishwasher because that will cause the bamboo ends to split and splinter, rendering no use from it. Overall, great quality, love the bamboo and will last a very long time when properly cared for. I received this product free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review."
