"The quality of the cable is very good. The microphone will sound way better if you expand the hole in the housing to around 2,5 mm (all 6 holes of the mic capsule need to be visible from the outside). Open up the housing and remove the pcb before drilling the hole. To use the cable with my Fiio FT1 headphones I've soldered two 3.5 mm connectors. To do this I cut open the original 2-pin connectors using pliers."
